our breeding goal
In accordance with what is explained on the
"HEALTH" page, we define the priority of our breeding as follows :
health, character and type.
Our principal
goal is to contribute as much as
possible to the improvement of the Maine Coon line from a genetic point
of view.
Thus
we engage to test our breeding coons :
- for HCM by echocardiography
-
for HCM1 by DNA
-
for PKD, HD and PL
-
for SMA by DNA
- to withdraw any cat having a positive result for the HCM, PKD or HD (level D or E)

to follow-up the health of our cats and their babies
