Vador
is our first Maine Coon. We want to thank Valérie and Pascal
for their trust and to have allowed us to live with him.
Vador
loves to be cuddled. He's very calm and playfulls. He particularly
likes hunting behind flies, activity is for sure bringing glory and
proteins to him. Very affectionate, Vador follows us without slackening
from room to room and rewards us for a generous humming for each
meeting of caresses.
Vador is a well
typed, large male, with very
well developed strong muscles.

HIS STORY
June 2004 :
he's home...
On Wednesday
June 23rd, 2004 we went to pick up
Vador. At his arrival at home, he spent several hours to inspect all
the rooms and he finally fell asleep on his tree.
Vador is a
lovely kitten, always seeking cuddles
and attention.
November 2004 : my best friend
A nice
history was born between my son and his
Vador. These two boys have a real complicity and share moments of
tenderness.
June 2005 : the home chief
Vador
is our giant with a tender heart...
exactly why we wanted a Maine Coon.
He's always
with us. Vador likes to assist us
for the house work, when we work on the computer, but specially when we
change the water of our aquariums. We couldn't live without him.
October 2005 : any more along
Since
October 29, 2005 Vador lives with his new
little Seven. He's like a very tender and careful big brother.
December 2005 : the couple of the year
First
month with his little Seven.
Vador
conquered the affection of Seven and never moves away very long time
from her.
When
Vador doesn't see Seven any more, he calls her of a tearing mewing....
and Seven runs towards him.
In
spite of their difference of gauge and temperament, our new couple gets
together marvelously.
February 2006 : the patriarch
Vador
held for us a nasty surprise at this
beginning of year 2006. With a tracking for the heart and the kidneys
perfect, any moment we had imagine a trouble with the hips. But here
is, the diagnosis is irreversible... severe dysplasy of the both hips
in subluxation. He doesn't show any limitation in the track races with
Seven, nor when he jumps on his tree.
Vador will be neutered on May 16th, 2006 and
will continue his life within our small breeding like the patriarch of
the group, which lucky boy....
February 2007 : for ever young
Vador is 3
years old !
He received
delicacies, caresses and much of kisses.
We wish you
much, much years by our side, because you're a so lovely and charming
purring boy.

May 2007 : HCM
Vador was
tested a second
time for the HCM. Since August 2006, we knew that vador carries the gene
for the HCM1, but we hope to have still a few years before learning his
positivity. We are very sad and we will do the best for him the next
years. Actually Vador don't have clinical sign for this disease.
